Poison Free Wasp Traps Work

Make a homemade wasp trap to eliminate wasps from your home. All you need is a 2-liter soda bottle, a utility knife and duct tape.

Placing 6-8 traps near the hive should wipe out the colony. These traps can be used for several days and weeks, or until the wasp problem has been completely eliminated.

Wash out a 2-liter soda bottle and allow the bottle to air dry. Cut off the top 1/3 of the bottle and remove cap. Place the top of the bottle upside down into the bottom section of the bottle, secure with duct tape. Pour water into the bottom of the bottle. There must be room for the wasps to move inside the trap. Place 1 tsp of liquid dish detergent, 1 tbsp of vinegar and 2 oz of liquid laundry soap into the water. Hang the trap near the wasps' nest. Hang the trap after the sun goes down because this is when wasps are less active. The wasps will be attracted to the scent of the water and fly inside. Once there, they will be killed by the ingredients in the water. When the wasps are dead, strain and use it to treat crawling bugs around your home.
