Green Tip for Today

Take shorter showers. Two minutes less shower time can conserve more than ten gallons of water. If everyone in the U.S. saved just one gallon from their daily shower, over the course of the year it would equal twice the amount of freshwater withdrawn from the Great Lakes every day.

Very interesting post!
I never thought how much water that we could waste. This puts it into perspective when you talk about the volume within the Great Lakes!
This will make me taking quicker showers.
Excellent blog!

@todd-thanks for visiting. in the 1960s we said, "save water. shower with a friend." LOL Now it is get in and get wet. Turn water off. Soap up. Turn water on. Rinse. Finish.
