Burt's Bees Sold to Clorox
North Carolina Bee Keeper Burt Shavitz built and ran his Burt's Bees natural personal-care products company as a business as well as a personal environmental statement. So, why did he sell his life's work to Clorox? $950 million

This is a bit sad; I've dated several women who love Burt's Beeswax. Partly because it's independently owned ... non-corporate. Hopefully they'll keep their quality standards, at least.
