Live Earth Carbon Assessment & Footprint Report

Live Earth graphicLive Earth set out to be different. The moment the green team started planning the Live Earth concert for July 7, 2007, they wanted to end up with a “zero net impact” for the concert events.

See how they did in the PDF Carbon Assessment and Footprint Report.

If you are a visually oriented person, take a look at the graphics, like above, of the data in the report at LiveEarth.VisibleStrategies.com.

The only country where recommended limits for waste streams, fuel and electricity were exceeded was in the USA. The venue was the NYC concert, actually held in New Jersey.

We need to do something before it becomes to lat. Global warming is a big problem and it needs to be stopped now for our grand kids sake.

I've been reading about the carbon credit, carbon emissions theories, and have found it really interesting. It's unbelievable to me the amount of people that are failing to see the epidemic of pollution encroaching upon us. Little picutres like this make it just that much easier to see...

The carbon emissions crisis has been a difficult one for me to explain to people I know, not only because it's an issue I care about, but because it's an issue that lacks quantitative evidence. It's difficult to visualize tons of carbon just floating up into the sky. Nice post.

By the time people wake up it will be too late. Actualy its already too late. Drastic measures are needed but since theya re antibusiness governments take no action.
