Picture from Sierra Club blog, all rights reserved.Global warming has imperiled polar bears almost to extinction. The Interior Department has to decide whether or not to place them on the "threatened" list under the Endangered Species Act by the end of January.
Meanwhile the Interior Department has opened The Chukchi Sea, home to one-tenth of the world's polar bears, to the dangers associated with oil drilling. Tell Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne that the polar bear should be listed as threatened now.
