President Calderon of Mexico is Saving Whales

BAHÍA DE LOS ANGELES NAMED BIOSPHERE RESERVE

President Felipe Calderón of Mexico has designated Bahía de los Angeles as a U.N. Biosphere Reserve, granting legal safeguards to 960,000 acres of this fragile refuge for whales and other marine life in the Sea of Cortez.

did You know that yellow stone park is going to be a company. Which means, destruction.. Because the want to make profit. For more tourists and stuff. I heard America wants to do this with al there national parks.

@hinduism-I only wish the USA president would save something instead of trying to log our national forest, plunder the wilderness for gas, and drill for oil in the Arctic.

@cindy-It is a real shame what is happening to the National Park System. The federal govt doesn't give them any funds and keeps trying to auction off our public lands to the highest bidder. Same thing is happening in Texas. We have to keep watch, keep awake and be vigilant.
