Live Earth : Concerts for a Climate in Crisis

You may watch Live Earth : Concerts for a Climate in Crisis on MSN. Select bands are being featured on the Sundance Channel. Look around your TV dial, some other independent stations may be carrying it as well.

The entire idea behind Live Earth is that, if we care about the Earth, which we should, we may each take small steps toward positive change. The impact of many small steps is HUGE. Do not think you cannot make a difference--you can!

If you would like more information about steps toward positive change that you may take, please visit the Live Earth site.

I think acts like this are great and bring a lot together. I feel that we really do need to act and this is a good example of what we are doing as a community. I am glad to know that many people do care.

How would you respond to the latest publicity around Live Earth being more about capitalism than helping the earth? I will have to look back at the national news circuit to find the exact post but it seems more and more people are claiming these types of events do little more than line the pockets of those involved versus actually helping.
Of course any type of publicity is good in a way. It gets the word out and makes people hopefully take notice.

@mark-May all that listened and watched the concert remember the message and take action. Thanks!

@susan-Thanks for stopping by. To answer this question I will cheat by using the quote from my blog:

"Anything else you're interested in is not going to happen if you can't breathe the air and drink the water. Don't sit this one out. Do something. You are by accident of fate alive at an absolutely critical moment in the history of our planet." Carl Sagan
