Do Your Part to Improve Air Quality

Our daily activities affect the amount of ozone-forming pollutants in the air we breathe. You can do your share for cleaner air by trying some of the following pollution reducing actions:
  • Drive less: bike, walk, carpool, or ride the bus
  • Drive more efficiently
  • Travel off-peak when possible
  • Maintain your vehicle engine
  • Keep your tires inflated to proper psi
  • Fuel your vehicle in the evening
  • Postpone mowing the lawn until evening

These are some great tips!

I'm not sure why you want to fuel your vehicle in the evening though.

@j.d.-Gasoline vapors escape when you refuel your car. These fumes react with sunlight and heat and create ozone. Refuel in evening (or in early morning) and help reduce ozone pollution. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for posting these practical tips. I really think there's utility in breaking down a huge issue (i.e., global warming) into manageable bits of information (i.e., driving less) that we use to change our behaviors.

By the way, I'm going to link your blog to mine. Keep up the good work!
